  • Calling All Families – Contribute Videos for Sunday Services! September 16, 2020 - We would like to have a "library" of chalice lighting and chalice extinguishing videos from UUCUC folk. We would particularly love contributions from children, youth, and families of all kinds. We will provide the words and guidance for making your video.
  • CROP Walk Assists in Disaster Relief September 16, 2020 - Please support the UU Walkers in CROP Walk 2020. This interfaith effort fights hunger and poverty, and also supports national/international disaster relief.

  • UUCUC Dream Team Update: Five Broad Goals And Next Steps September 9, 2020 - Survey results narrowed 13 goals to the 5 goals that our strategic plan will focus on for the next 5 years. A big thank you to the congregation for stepping up – we heard from 148 of you!! A special thanks to Becky Densmore for speedily analyzing the results.
  • UP Center To Use UUCUC for C-U 2020 Pride Fest On-line – September 25-27 September 9, 2020 - The Pride Parade was typically the biggest fundraiser for the year for Uniting Pride (UP) of Champaign-Urbana. But this year, part of the festival is planned for a virtual series of live-streamed moderated workshops. UP representative Zev Alexander (a friend of our church) asked to use our facility, in order to have a central location with good WiFi and internet support, but could still allow the in-person attendees to stay spread out enough to be safely socially distanced and obeying Health district regulations.
