The #MeToo movement has been a powerful and unexpected force for change in the last year. It has also re-awakened past traumas for many people. In this service we will honor the courage of this movement and those who have participated in it, and acknowledge the damage of sexual violence and coercion, with story, ritual, and blessing.
This service may not be appropriate for younger children or for those who may be triggered by this material, although there will be no sexually explicit stories. There will be no spoken “Joys and Sorrows” or upcoming event announcements in the service.
