The aim of this CommUUNity listserv is to share information in the UUCUC community about needs, resources, things to share, things for sale, etc. It’s like a neighborhood listserv, but for our commUUnity! It is not for discussion, politics, sharing links, etc. For that, please go to our Members and Friends Facebook page.

Anyone who is a member or friend of the congregation, or on our eNews mailing list, is welcome to join. If the moderator does not recognize your name, they may follow-up with you to confirm how you are affiliated with UUCUC before approving your membership to the listserv.

The Moderators of the listserv reserve the right to remove posts that are not relevant, or seem obviously unkind, disrespectful of others, or otherwise out of covenant, but we will also communicate directly if we do remove a post. We hope we never have to do so!

How To Join

To join the listserv, please fill out the following form: https://uucuc.breezechms.com/form/d15cba.

After you fill the form out, the moderator will approve your membership to the listserv. Please allow 2 business days for approval.

By signing up as a member to the liserv, you are agreeing to follow the guidelines of etiquette noted below.

Listserv Etiquette

When posting or responding to posts on the listserv, please keep these general guidelines of etiquette in mind:

1. Be Kind and Courteous. We’re all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let’s treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
2. No Hate Speech or Bullying. Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn’t allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.
3. No Spam. Give more than you take to this group. Spam and irrelevant links will be removed.

How to Post and Respond to Listserv Messages

Members of the CommUUnity listerv can post messages directly by emailing Commuunity@uucuc.org, or by visiting https://groups.google.com/a/uucuc.org/d/forum/commuunity. Please note, all members of the listserv will be able to view posts and respond to them.
