Board of Trustees Receives Safety and Security Assessment Report

The Board of Trustees engaged Good Havens Consulting and its director, Dr. Trudy Good to conduct a safety and security audit to provide recommendations for how UUCUC might improve in this arena. During the January Study Session, Dr. Good, attended this meeting to share her findings as well as presented the board with foundational knowledge related to threat assessment. She provided the BoT access to her copyrighted slide deck. She emphasized the latest thinking and best practice is on the prevention of threats from occurring. The report and her presentation materials are linked for congregational reference. The board is currently planning its next steps to act on Dr. Good’s recommendations.
