Class Updates

Regular REE Classes on April 28, May 12, 19, and 26 (Last Day of Spring REE)
No REE Class on May 5 (nursery open for infants through 5 years old)

Sunday, May 5: Join us for a very special All-Ages Service which includes a child dedication service and active leadership from our Grade 3 and 4 class.

  • PreK-K learned about the 7th Principle this month. They talked about protecting the environment, getting involved, and doing your share to make the community better. Last week, they made seed bombs for Earth Day. This week, they begin a unit on the 8th Principle: We must work together for diversity and against racism and oppression.
  • Grades 1-2 will discuss how making our voices heard can show love. They will discover how to offer their gifts and talents to build a loving community, speak for those whose voices aren’t heard, and understand that just one voice can make a difference.
  • Grades 3-4 are doing work developing parts of the service for May 5. All participants will have a rehearsal on Saturday, May 4.
  • The Grade K-1 OWL class ends this Sunday. The Grade 4-5 class ends on May 5.

Join us every Thursday for Storytime with Wendy and Fergus! Each week, we will read a new children’s book from the UUCUC library on the lower level. All books can be checked out through our library.
