- Where Did the 8th UU Principle Come From? March 9, 2021 - Paula Cole-Jones, Director of Racial and Social Justice of the Central East Regional Group of the UUA, realized in 2013 that something needs to change in our largely Euro-centric UU churches. Many of us feel good about living by our 7 UU principles, but there is a problem. In order to make real change in our society, we need to dismantle systemic racism. It is not enough to quietly disapprove of acts of racial oppression. We need to stand up and speak out against them.
- LGBTQ Welcome Renewal March 3, 2021 - 2020. The UUA now requires annual application for this designation. We first became a Welcoming Congregation in 1999.
- Are You UUP for the Challenge? March 1, 2021 - Your Service Auction Committee is pleased to announce that the 2021 Service AUUction, "UUp for the Challenge," will be held on the evenings of April 9 and 10, 2021. Like last year (but hopefully not next year), this auction will be held online. As we all learned in 2020, however, even an online auction can be fun and exciting. Mark your calendars so that you can be ready to bid on the great array of items we will have for you!
