I have some difficult news to share. As some of you may remember, I was diagnosed with inflammatory rheumatoid arthritis (RA) last February. This is a serious, progressive, and life-long systemic auto-immune illness. Treatment can be challenging, because although there are now a number of high-tech medications that can actually lead to remission – yay for that! – it’s hard to know which ones will work for a particular person, and it can take months for a particular medication to make a difference.
Thank you dear UUCUC for a lovely 3-years! It has been a pleasure to work with you. And thank you to Karla Peterson and her team (Sam Beshers, Karen Folk, Kathleen Holden, Jenny Hunt, Emily McKown, Mona Shannon, Deb Rugg, Jody Hanger, Cindy Ingold, Brian McDermott and the members of REEF – Lara Breeze-Troyer, Randy Locke, Kathleen Holden, Dave Sharpe, and Carol Veit) for a lovely good bye event on Saturday, July 31st.
Even though we do not have a plan fully in place, we want to be able to contact you once we do. Please register your children and youth for this year’s religious education and we will keep you in the loop with our fall plans.

If you’ve got a strong back (and maybe a lumbar belt), Tim would love your help moving office furniture, some couches, and removing some things from the building.
