- The End (or Interruption) of National Abortion Rights—What It Means for Our Community September 27, 2022 - Our community has rich and poor, in-state and out-of-state students, faculty, people with needs, and people who can help. Our community is also host to visitors from other states seeking reproductive healthcare. As clinics become overwhelmed, they, as well as IL residents, are seeking any clinic with the soonest available appointment date.

- Pridefest Parade and Fair- Come Help Us Promote UUCUC! September 20, 2022 - UUCUC will participate once again in the Pride Fest Parade and Fair on Saturday, October 1st. The parade is from 11 am to Noon; the Pride Fest Fair with booths will be set up in downtown Urbana for visitors.
- Afghan Refugee Free Sale – Thank Yous September 13, 2022 - Immigration Justice Team would like to give a big shout out to UUCUC members who donated items, volunteered at the sale, provided rides, and tuned up bicycles.
- Help Welcome our Afghan Refugee Families to CU August 23, 2022 - UUCUC Immigration Justice Team is partnering with Hessel Park Church at a free “garage” sale event for Afghan families sponsored by the Refugee Center on Saturday, Sept 10th.
- Immigration Justice Team Hosting Family from Nicaragua July 7, 2022 - The Immigration Justice Team has taken on the task of housing a family of 3 in our church YRUU ROOM.
- Roe v. Wade is gone. What can we do? June 28, 2022 - Last Friday, the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, ending federal protection for the right to abortion and leaving it up to the states. Illinois is safe for now, but existing state laws made abortion illegal in 13 states.
- Welcoming Congregation Renewal- Education Module for 2022- June 11th May 31, 2022 - This year’s education event is coming up on Saturday, June 11th at the Spurlock Museum auditorium. Our goal is to have 10% or more of UUCUC folks participate.
