The Racial Justice Project and Social Action Committee have teamed up to create UUCUC’s first Faithify campaign. Faithify is a crowd-sourcing way to raise funds, allowing anyone to contribute to campaigns they care about. It’s like GoFundMe but with UU values built in.

We are raising funds to help FirstFollowers open the FirstSteps Re-entry House in Champaign County. They are very close to having enough funding to open their doors. Our Faithify campaign could put them over the top.

The FirstSteps house will welcome people leaving incarceration and help them successfully transition to the community. Priority will be given to those who would otherwise be homeless. That’s where FirstSteps will fill a huge need.
