Urbana-Champaign Books to Prisoners (B2P) is a working group of the IMC with a mission to provide books to incarcerated people throughout the state of Illinois. B2P operates a lending library at the Champaign County Jail and has a new program serving the Juvenile Detention Center. Through these services, B2P also aspires to provide education to the public about incarceration and the challenges of education and literacy behind bars.
