UCRJ invites you to join in joyful community in defiance of the Dobbs decision

June 24th marks one year since the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision eliminated federal protections for abortion access. UCRJ and the IMC invite you to gather in joyful community in defiance of this decision and the wave of laws across the country undermining the human right to bodily autonomy. All are welcome!

1-3pm (main room) – Zine making with the UCIMC Zine Library

3-4pm (main room) – Creative poetry workshop

1-2pm (Sunroom) – Visioning Reproductive Justice: an interactive teach-in with Julie Laut and Sam Auerbach

2-3pm (Sunroom) – Abortion aftercare packaging event with Planned Parenthood of Illinois

4-5pm (Sunroom) – Create kits for people traveling for abortion and gender-affirming care with Elevated Access

5:30pm (Main stage) – Live performances  by Paul KotheimerMike IngramEmily the Band

Comedy sets by Farah Ismi and Jessica Stelzer from CU Broad Comedy
