Join us this holiday season for our traditional Christmas Eve gathering at UUCUC. On Saturday December 24th, you are invited to attend one of our two candlelit services, for warmth, music, fellowship, and a reminder that there is light even in the darkest and coldest time of year.
The 5:00 PM service, led by Rev. Sally Fritsche, will be a lively and intentionally family-friendly experience, and our 7:00 PM service, led by Rev. KB, will be a more quiet and contemplative space. Both services will include candlelit singing of Silent Night, and a telling of the biblical Christmas story. Both services will also be live streamed on our YouTube page.
During the hour between services, all are welcome to gather in Fellowship Hall for cookies, hot beverages, and good company. The Christmas Eve snacks are provided by the congregation (not the Hospitality Teams). All are invited to bring in a plate of holiday treats to share in our fellowship hour between services. Bring your plate into the kitchen & remember to take it home at the end of fellowship hour that evening. Please include a note about any possible food allergens.
Please note, there will be no Christmas day service or fellowship hours scheduled on December 25 but we encourage you to view one or both of the recorded Christmas Eve services available on our YouTube channel.
