Eighteen varied and interesting organizations have been proposed and we will select eleven for next year’s program.  

The organizations nominated include:   Fund Texas Choice, Champaign Urbana Schools Foundation, Uniting Pride of Champaign County. RACES (Rape Advocacy Counseling & Education Services), Green Team Academy, Brennan Center for Justice at NYU Law, The Refugee Center, Your Song, The Lakota People’s Law Project, School of the Americas Watch, Mahomet Area Youth Club, Education Justice Project, Concerned Citizens of Carbondale, Children Skills Foundation (Africa), CU Trauma and Resilience Initiative, HitNHomeboy, WIN Recovery, and The Representation Project.

Our selection meeting is this coming Sunday, December 5, at 1pm.  Members and friends of our church are welcome to attend and help select the organizations for next year’s shared offering program.  But, you can only vote if you attend this meeting (i.e., there is no proxy voting).
