As you may have heard, last Sunday was the final time Rev KB will serve as lead preacher in our pulpit. Thankfully, she will still be planning and supporting our Sunday services alongside Rev. Sally and the worship team, and we thank her for all the powerful and amazing messages she has brought to our congregation over the past 18 months.

Although Rev KB was contracted to serve as our Lead Interim Minister until the end of the fiscal church year (June 30), this week she asked the BoT to please accept a “gift back” of a month of her contract. She offered to end her official time on June 3 and roll the remainder of her salary back into the budget as a generous parting gift. The Board tenderly accepted, on behalf of a grateful congregation.

Although we are sad that Rev. KB’s time as our interim lead minister will soon be coming to a close, she still has several weeks left with our congregation! Although she will soon further the process of wrapping things up please know she will be available for appointments and meetings through May 21. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Board Chair Becky Densmore.
