When to Choose Repair? The Art of Discernment

Healing is a process, and so is repair—but what’s the difference? When you scrape your knee, your body heals it naturally, without thought. Repair, however, is different: it requires attention, intention, and effort. Repair suggests something broken, a design in need of retooling. In today’s material-driven, throw-away culture, the practice of repair becomes a countercultural act.
