On June 22nd, the Urbana City Council appointed Rev. Caplow to the Human Relations Commission, a city commission tasked with working to end discrimination in the City of Urbana by enforcing the Urbana Human Right Ordinance.

Rev. Caplow sees the appointment as part of her work in support of UUCUC’s social justice values and hopes to make a contribution to greater local justice.
