From David L. Gross
UU World, the magazine of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations is provided, without charge, to all members of the one thousand UU congregations in the United States. I read it cover to cover for news, ideas and inspiration about our faith. I suggest that you at least skim all of it. In the current Summer 2020 issue there are mentions of UUCUC folks in two places. On page 59 there is a story about our Gail Cohen and Florence Caplow and the book “Mosaic Stories That Changed Our Lives” written by thirteen of our members. Then in the fine print on page 61 is the wonderful news that Rev. Florence Caplow has earned Full Fellowship, the highest level of ministerial credentialing offered by our denomination.
Unfortunately, this issue reports also that the World Magazine, previously published four times each year, will now be published only twice a year as still another of the continuing budget cuts within the UUA.
