The Pride Fest Booths and Parade are set for Saturday, Sept. 21st. The parade and fair both start at 1 pm, with our two booth spaces in downtown Urbana along Race and Main streets as in years past. Set up and entry time to the booth spaces is 10 to 11:15 am. Our booths are located same as last year- just east of the Cinema Gallery on Main Street.

Booths are to be open from 1 to 5 pm. Rev. Sally is taking care of set-up. She could use a couple more volunteers for the 10 am set up time. We need folks to staff the booth in one hour increments and helpers to take it down at 5pm. Sign up at the link below. If it doesn’t work contact Cate.

Parade Marchers- we need at least one person to coordinate the parade marchers. The parade route is different from years past. It starts at the SE corner of the Farmer’s Market space with a line-up order. You can sign up for the parade marchers at the link below. If it doesn’t work, contact Cate.
I am coordinating the volunteers in advance, but I am officiating a friend’s memorial service early that afternoon so not available until mid-afternoon. Let me know if I can answer any questions. Jerry Carden
