Ever been asked to pray for or with someone, and didn’t know what to do? Verbalized prayer isn’t central to our UU tradition, but it can be a powerful way to connect with others and let them know you hear them and care about their wellbeing. Leaving aside the theology of prayer, this workshop is a purely practical guide. If you’re ever asked to pray, especially in a situation where you don’t share common beliefs with others present, what can you actually say??
