Popcorn Theology: Fancy Dance

Friday, November 1 at 6 p.m. in Fellowship Hall

Bring the whole family. We provide freshly popped popcorn and a variety of drinks. Stay after the movie for discussion movie questions and conversation.

Fancy Dance features Lily Gladstone and is an intimate portrait of the struggles of native women and the disparity between white and Indigenous reported crimes. Following her sister’s disappearance, a Native American hustler kidnaps her niece from the child’s white grandparents and sets out for the state powwow in hopes of keeping what is left of their family intact.

Popcorn Theology is a fun and engaging multigenerational program built around popular movies that have spiritual or ethical relevance.
