As we come into this season of generosity and renewal it is only fitting that we take time out together and take a fresh look at our lives. Individually and as a congregation.
To ask ourselves some key questions about the nature and quality of our life experience here on earth as human beings.
We are not the first generation to know challenging times. And these surely are… challenging times.
Our congregation has been through so much change in 2021 coming into 2022. And yet, I have been astounded to find the depth of mission and the love of community that is strong and flourishing here despite the impact of living during a world wide pandemic.
We know that things can not be as they were. For we are not the same.
What do we Do Now with what choices that Are in our control in this hour… this day…. this life
What beauty, what hope, what meanings, what chances for co creating and for impact are waiting just around the bend— for each of us individually And for we as a congregation.
How can you and I and all of us move forward into the dawning of a new day —-to celebrate the good in what Is all around us Now
—to discover the gifts in this moment of life that is ours to live Now— -to engage in this world that is ours to love and to take care of Now as we come face to face with the clear evidence of the resilience of the human spirit.
Our hope. Our courage. Our strength Individually and as a congregation.
This past Sunday many of you and I witnessed to “Silver Linings and points of light In the Dark Covid Years” as we enjoyed a musical slide presentation filled with lines from the stories of over 35 of our beloved UUCUC members as their words share about how they each are finding light for their paths … silver linings that strengthen their spirits and brighten their lives.
Just sit back and relax as we hope you enjoy the many “points of light and silver linings during the covid years” shared by so many of your friends here at UUCUC!
Shared with love from Rev KB and your friends at UUCUC
