Penné Beckett
Penné was born in Meadville, Pennsylvania, but at age 4 her family moved to Florida. As an adult she lived for a short time in New Jersey, but most of her life was spent living in Texas. She moved to Urbana with her husband Jonny in 2007. While visiting her sister in Florida she and Jonny went to the Unitarian Church that her sister has been attending for many years. On the flight home they decided to check out the UU church in Urbana. Becoming a member in 2017 was an easy choice.
Mother of one, 2 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren keep Penné busy! Penné is currently also on several committees, Membership, Immigration Justice Task Force, Worship, and on Hospitality Team C. She also serves as a worship associate.
