Vasant Panchami, a Hindu celebration of Devi Saraswati fell on January 29th this year. 

On Saturday, February 1st  the Middle School religious education class visited the Central Illinois Hindu Temple to be a part of their multi-generational celebration honoring Saraswati and the beginning of spring.  Six youth and eight adults were a part of the festivigies. 

Thanks to religious education leader, Dan Urban for coordinating the event.  A special thank you to the hospitality of Temple leaders who provided education and grand hospitality.  We look forward to other ways to connect with this religious community
