“By the Way, Meet Vera Stark” is a 70-year journey through the life of Vera Stark, a headstrong African-American maid and budding actress, and her tangled relationship with her boss, a white Hollywood star desperately grasping to hold on to her career. 

Our own church member, Michaela Kruse is among the cast.  UIUC’s Theater faculty, Jeffrey Jenkins, favorably reviewed the production in the News Gazette &  had this to say about Michaela: “Michaela Kruse is consistently amusing as the white glamor queen with a secret.” If you haven’t been to the Station before (or since COVID) they have mask policies in place & vaccination requirements which are outlined on their web site.
