May 2021 8th Principle Learning Opportunities

UUCUC will consider the adoption of the 8th Principle at its annual meeting in June, 2021. Even though this is not one fo the UUA’s official principles, the adoption of the 8th principle demonstrates investment in building beloved community and commitment to racial equity. See the 8th Principle website for more information and watch for listening sessions to discuss it further.

In May, there are two potential learning opportunities to engage with the proposed Unitarian Universalist 8th Principle.

COLLAGE! One is for families of all shapes and sizes. The COLLAGE program will study the 8th principle in May. COLLAGE is a take-home program that studies each of the Unitarian Universalist principles through activities, home worship, stories and art. If you would like to join COLLAGE for the month of May, sign up in the registration form below. An 8th principle COLLAGE kit will be delivered to you and your family the 2nd weekend of May along with ways to connect with other engaged in the program.

Adult Religious Education Class: Living the Principles in Times of Uncertainty. On Wednesday, May 26th from 7:00-8:30 PM, we will study the 8th principle and discuss is value and challenges.
