Our church values lifelong faith formation for children, youth, and adults through the Religious Exploration & Engagement program. Volunteers are an important part of making intentional learning experiences happen, both within and beyond the classroom walls. We invite you to consider how you might deepen your own spiritual journey by serving as part of our Religious Exploration & Engagement program.
We are building our volunteer pool for the spring. Whether you are able to help regularly, visit to share a special passion, or lend a hand behind the scenes, we value the opportunity to find a way for you to be involved.
These are a few of the volunteer opportunities we currently have available:
- Team Leader for Children’s Team, Youth Team, and Administrative Team – view job description
- Sunday morning assistant – work with REE staff before, during, and after REE on Sunday mornings to support the teachers, welcome and guide families, and manage paperwork
- Communication assistant – assist with promoting REE programs, taking photos and capturing stories, and creating the REE newsletter
- Program assistant – provide support to programs such as Popcorn Theology, Parents Night Out, and Playground Playdate
- Volunteer Management – help recruit, train, support and manage the REE teachers and volunteers
- Spring Teachers and Subs – work as part of a team to teach Sunday REE (teach 5-6 times between Feb 11 and May 26)
- One Room Schoolhouse – help plan and lead special themed all-ages classroom experiences (Jan 14-29; March 10-17, summer)
Take a minute to complete this form to share your time and talent in ways big or small with the REE program. Or email Kelly Skinner about a particular role you may be interested in.
