The next LGBTQ+UU Welcome Team potluck and meeting will be Friday, November 10th. We will meet up at 6 pm in Fellowship Hall for snacks and conversation, the potluck starting around 6:30 pm and discussion topics in small groups after that. One topic will be to discuss the Pride Fest activities and any changes/ideas for next year.

This group is open to anyone that identifies as LGBTQIA as well as our allies. We serve as a place to socialize & network, as well as to discuss what we can do to help educate ourselves and others about pertinent issues. Community Support opportunity- There is an increase in LGBTQ+ homelessness in Champaign County- especially for Trans persons. Are you interested in helping with a newly formed group working to address this sub-population? Do you have lived experience with being homeless- we are looking for testimonials as part of our publicity campaign. This group is being led by Danielle Chynoweth, of the Cunningham Township Supervisor.
