Religious Education Children’s Leader sponsors a family rock painting project.

Wendy Graves has teamed up with Mona Shannon as the children’s team co-lead on the Religious Education council. Thank you, Wendy for being a part of UUCUC’s RE leadership. She has a great idea for an activity. See her message below:

Rock Painting is a fun, easy activity for kids and people of all ages and a great way to spread messages of joy, encouragement, peace, play….fun! We would love for children of all ages (0-110) to create rocks that people can enjoy. You can make some to give to family, friends or simply leave them around as a random act of kindness. You may even want to keep a couple for your own home. They can be as simple as a smiley face, a word, polka dots to mandala designs. We can get you supplies to get you started. Would you like a UUCUC Rock Painting kit?

The picture is of some of the rocks Wendy created. Once you reply ‘Yes,’ we will be in touch with further information on rock kits. We deliver or will have them ready to pick up.
