The 8th Principle calls for UU’s to “journey toward spiritual wholeness by working to build a diverse multicultural Beloved Community by our actions.” What does this mean and just how should we be acting toward one another? To respond to these questions, we’ll watch an excerpt from a TED talk by Doug Shipman, Former Founding CEO of the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, on creating beloved community, and we’ll talk about what we’ve seen.
