Invitation to Become a Part of the Leadership Circle

We are very excited about the new possibilities for ministry here at UUCUC, but bringing on a part-time Associate Minister for Congregational Life to share Rev. Caplow’s ministry with us is going to take all of us showing up as leaders. You are invited to become part of the “Leadership Circle” for this bold new initiative.

If you are….

  • Inspired by the idea of moving toward a multi-minister team here, to support our programs, leaders, and pastoral care
  • Love UUCUC, and want it to become an even stronger community of seekers and justice-makers, inspiring others throughout CU
  • The kind of person who wants to inspire others in giving and generosity

Please consider joining our Leadership Circle. Regardless of your means, this Circle is open to you. You can…

  • Commit to raise your 2020-2021 annual pledge by 15% or more, whatever your current pledge may be. Or,
  • Make a one-time donation to our “Ministerial Set-Aside Fund” to provide a solid foundation to support our new minister. Donations of all levels are welcome. Please be generous, within your capacity.

If you would like to be part of the Leadership Circle, please send a note to our administrator, Brian Franklin, at admin@uucuc.org, indicating your commitment to raising your pledge by 15% or more, or send a check with “Ministerial Set-Aside Fund” in the memo line to UUCUC, 309 W. Green St, Urbana, IL 61801 or make an online donation to the fund.

We hope to have at least 25 members of our Leadership Circle by the beginning of our Pledge Campaign on February 9th. You may remain anonymous if you wish.
