International Transgender Day of Visibility is an annual event occurring on March 31. It is a time to celebrate transgender and non-binary people around the globe and acknowledge the courage it takes to live openly and authentically. Advocates also use the day to raise awareness around discrimination and violence that trans people still face. As a Welcoming Congregation, we join in celebrating the transgender and non-binary folks in our community and we affirm our commitment to support them and to work actively against discrimination.
