Join us in observing Imbolc (also known as Candlemas or St. Brigid’s Day), the midway point between the winter solstice and spring equinox. Though the cold will be with us for many weeks yet, the light is fast returning, and all beings, plant and animal, are waking from winter’s slumber. Arrive at 7:00 for a tutorial in weaving Brigid’s crosses; at 7:30 we will begin a ritual embodying the transformation of darkness into light. To conclude, there will be food and drink to share and (weather permitting) an outdoor fire.
