UUCUC member Chuck Cooper is a longtime stamp collector, and in celebration of Black History month, we’re highlighting his complete collection of EVERY usps stamp featuring a Black person, from the very first in 1940 and all the way to 2020. 

You can check out the physical collection at a table in Fellowship Hall this week, and a digitized version here at blackstamps.us, searchable by date and by the person or event commemorated on each stamp.

There is even an online quiz to test your knowledge of Black History and see how well you recognize the 259 African Americans featured on these stamps.
