The Board of Trustees expresses its sincere appreciation for Arthur J. “Jim” Heins’ generous bequest to UUCUC. The Board is pleased to honor Jim’s legacy of making a difference in the world we live and navigate. Jim passed away on April 14, 2021 at the age of 89. As noted in his obituary, Jim was an “award-winning teacher and scholar, gifted actor and noted local raconteur”. In recent years, congregants connected with Jim with the help of Care Core. Jim’s unrestricted $20,000 bequest was received by the UU Trust Fund. The UU Trust Fund supports the long-term mission of UUCUC.
