Faithify Community Relief Fund

The prediction for Illinois is that the worst of the COVID pandemic will be happening from now through June. However, recovery from the economic effects will take much longer. Many people in our community are suffering financial disasters and food insecurity.

To help with this crisis, the Social Action Committee has set up a Faithify account with a goal of $30,000.To make your donations have the most impact, we created one fund to support three ongoing projects:

  1. CU Better Together
  2. CU FAIR’s Pandemic Response Fund
  3. Red Herring’s Bucket Brigade

Each of these is described in detail on our website. If you have received a stimulus check that you really don’t need, consider donating it to this fund for people who have greater needs.

If you and your family are thankful that you are doing okay, celebrate your gratitude by donating to this fund for those who are less fortunate.
Please join Social Action, the Racial Justice Project, and the Immigration Task Force in supporting this fund.
