This kicks off the 10-week class of an adaptation of the University of Illinois Psychology Department’s Mindfulness Training (MT) curriculum (https://mindfulness.illinois.edu/). While the class is largely experiential in nature (guided mindfulness exercises and discussion), it is also very important to read assigned chapters weekly from Mark Williams’s book, Mindfulness: Finding Peace in a Frantic World to support learning. Participants will need to purchase this book or they can borrow a limited number of copies from the UUCUC library. Participants are also provided with guided mindfulness MP3 audios to use daily between weekly classes to build their mindfulness skills.

Registration for this program is closed.
