National SURJ is having a webinar tonight at 7pm CST called White People’s Work to End Racism. This is a webinar especially for folks who are newer to racial justice work as well as folks doing the work of bringing new white folks in. White people have an important role and responsibility for being part of a multi-racial movement to end racism and win collective liberation. Over 18,500 people have registered for this webinar nationwide!
To make things a little more local, CU-SURJ is hosting a watch party for people in the CU and surrounding areas to watch together. To do this, (which allows us to use the chat to talk with one another, and also to be able to chat briefly after if you’d like) join this zoom room:
Feel free to forward this zoom link to friends and family, but DO NOT post it on social media or share publicly.
But, if you prefer to watch the webinar independently on facebook live, go here (be advised it might not start there until 5m past the hour):
This facebook link can be shared via social media.
It will be the same content, just that the zoom room will be local people watching together through a screen share.
