David Gross will present the first of a series of four travelogues. We begin with the Alaska Highway, and then on the last Friday evening of each month (January 31, February 28, March 27, and April 24) we will move on to Cruise Ships, Road Scholar travels and lastly UU Events. Some month ago, as a Service aUUction event, David described his work and camping in Antarctica. Forty-Six of you attended and contributed to the church. There is no contribution requested for this new series. The Alaska show will feature photos, stories, great scenery, wildlife, camping and some geology lessons.
David has twice driven round trip to Alaska, 23 days the first time, most of two months the second time. In his scientific career and now in his retirement/travel career David has always carried a camera.
This travelogue series is offered as part of the new Adult R.E. program and is all under the banner of Travel That UU Can Do. No registration is required, but would be helpful with our planning for the set up of the room.To register, please visit the Adult R.E. program page.
