Dream A Little Dream…With Sage Cafe

When: July 19th from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
Who is invited:
Everyone
Where:
Fellowship Hall

On July 19, we’ll come together for another thoughtful discussion at the Sage Café. Our topic that evening will be “What Are Dreams?” I’ve already heard from some of our regular attendees that we could be talking about the journeys we take in our sleep or the plans we make for our lives. Which perspective would you take?

June’s conversation on “Can Something Be True Without Evidence?” was our best-attended Café yet. New participants brought challenging and intriguing notions to the discussion. We explored Darwinism, matriarchal societies, pure mathematics, Euclidean geometry, and Newton’s apple.

As we plan ahead for upcoming Café events, we are considering loosely linking our topics to worship themes and the newly approved UUA Values, as stated in the revised Bylaws. A few ideas we are considering are “How Do We Repair Harm?” “Are Democratic Processes The Best Path To Justice?” and “Is Charity The Enemy Of Dignity?”

The Sage Café is held every third Friday of the month in the Fellowship Hall from 6:30 to 8:00. Please join us.
