Dearly Departed David Barber October 8, 1951 – April 30, 2023 Longtime UUCUC member David Barber passed away early this Sunday morning, at Carle Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.  His acute illness over these past weeks, and his death on Sunday came as a shock and a terrible blow to all who knew him, and our broken hearts are holding his surviving family – particularly his wife, beloved church member Peggi White – in the light. David’s family will be holding a visitation and funeral service this Saturday in our UUCUC sanctuary, and all church members are invited to attend either or both events.  The family asks that all those in attendance please wear a mask throughout the morning.  Masks will be provided at the door.
