COLLAGE!

From Michele Grove, Interim Director of Religious Education

What: A Multigenerational Adventure through the Unitarian Universalist Principles

When: October to May

We will explore one Unitarian Universalist Principle each month!

This past summer, sixteen families explored the Seven Principles through a program called COLLAGE!  COLLAGE is an at home program where participants received kits full of stories, crafts, worship ideas, adventures, science experiments and so much more.  As the family engages in the activities, they learn more about the Unitarian Universalist 7 Principles.

We will continue this program in a new form.  We welcome the families who participated this summer and NEW FAMILIES to join us.  Here are some important things to know:

  1.  Families come in all shapes and sizes.
    • Some have children and youth-some do not.
    • Some have one member – some have several.  No matter what your family looks like, we hope you will join us.
  • COLLAGE participants will have the opportunity to gather online once a month.  The time will be determined by the best fit of the participants.
  • COLLAGE participants will have the opportunity to join in small, socially distanced groups on the first Sunday of each month (a time in the afternoon).
    • Once a family signs up, they will have an opportunity to sign up for one of the in person small groups (no more than 10 at a time).
    • When we gather, we will light the chalice together, check-in, and do something fun!  This is for all ages to connect.  If you do not feel comfortable being a part of an in person small group, you will still have the online opportunity as a way to engage with the group.
  • COLLAGE participants will have other ways to connect that are creative, fun and safe.  Watch for the opportunities to come to your door step each month!
