The “B” in LGBTQ+ often gets overlooked! September 23 is a date to remember and celebrate bisexual people and the bisexual community. When our church completed a congregation demographic survey prior to hiring Rev. Florence, just over 7% of our members identified as bisexual, more than identified as either gay or lesbian.
Let’s support and honor these people! Some groups refer to this date as bisexuality+ day, using the “+” to include people who describe their sexual orientation as pansexual, polysexual, omnisexual, fluid, or queer.
