From Paige Weston, member of Compassion and Choices
It’s hard to talk about death and dying, so most of us don’t ever do it. “How and where will I die?” might be the most expensive question never to have asked. More, “How do I want my death to go?” might be the most emotionally costly discussion never to have had with your friends and family.
Let’s help each other begin these conversations with our loved ones, before it’s too late. I’m offering to lead a discussion of the book Finish Strong, by Barbara Coombs Lee. All are invited to my home at 7:00 p.m. on the first four Wednesday evenings in April. RSVP to epaigeweston@gmail.com for details.
If there’s enough interest for more than one discussion group, we’ll divide up. If anyone needs a wheelchair-accessible or cat-free space, we’ll change the venue.
