  • New Room Reservation Form Rollout July 1, 2021 - The Director of Congregational Administration has developed and distributed a new room reservation form as the church begins to reopen.
  • Our Whole Lives Program Fall 2021-2022 June 30, 2021 - A 7-9th grade Our Whole Lives will take on Sundays from 4-6 PM beginning on Sunday, September 12, 2021. We anticipate that the need for this class is high, and it is possible that we will offer a second class.
  • Hold the Date for Michele Grove’s Goodbye! June 30, 2021 -

    Michele Grove - hired as UUCUC's Interim DRE in 2018 - is completing her time with us. HER LAST DAY is JULY 31.

    We have plans to send her off in style that day - from 2-4 P.M. in the back parking lot of UUCUC (south of the building). Yes, you will be hearing more about safety with Covid-19 still a risk.

  • Board Encourages Further Donations to Pay Down Principal on Church Mortgage June 30, 2021 - uring its regular scheduled business meeting on June 22, the Board of Trustees unanimously passed a motion to automatically accept restricted gifts of less than $5000 earmarked to pay the mortgage principal.
  • UUCUC Draft Reopening Framework Passed by Board June 24, 2021 - The Board of Trustees voted on Tuesday, June 22 to pass the Draft Reopening Framework document, developed by the COVID Advisory Task Force and reviewed by the CU Public Health District. It will go into effect immediately, for the summer, but the Board will host listening sessions in August for further input before passing the final version at the end of August.
  • Youth Coordinator Departing – for Seminary! June 23, 2021 - Our wonderful Emily McKown will be leaving her Youth Coordinator position on our staff (though not membership as part of UUCUC) as she prepares to start seminary and preparation for UU Ministry at United Theological Seminary.
  • RE Team Hiring Announcement! June 23, 2021 - We have an RE Team! And what an exciting team we think it will be. Rose St. Claire has accepted our offer to become our Coordinator of Religious Exploration and Engagement (CREE), and Adrienne Summerlot, former DRE for the UU Church in Bloomington, Indiana, has accepted our offer to become our remote 1/4 time Consulting Director of Religious Exploration and Engagement (Consulting DREE).
