Karen Bush, retired United Church of Christ minister and longtime resident of Urbana-Champaign, has accepted the board’s invitation to serve our church while Rev. Florence is on extended medical leave.
  • UUCUC’s Immigration Justice Task Force to be Recognized at Immigrant Welcome Awards Ceremony – Updated with Ceremony Link September 1, 2021 - It was announced this week that UUCUC's Immigration Justice Task Force will be recognized with the Community Impact Award at the 8th Annual Immigrant Welcome Awards on September 18th! The time of the event will be from 3:30 pm until 5:00 pm, with the location to be determined. We will share information once the location for the event has been finalized.
  • Photos From This Year’s UUCUC Water Celebration September 1, 2021 - UUCUC members and friends turned out for the Water Celebration at Crystal Lake Park in Urbana on August 29th, which was led by Rev. Sally Fritsche. It was wonderful to come together in-person again as a congregation, and we hope to do it again soon!
