This week, we continue to get reports from congregants that they are receiving emails from someone purporting to be Rev. Caplow. These emails generally ask for financial help, gift cards, or some other strange request.

Please note that only emails from minister@uucuc.org are from Rev. Caplow, and if her full signature with contact information is not included in the message, it’s not from Rev. Caplow and should be considered and marked as spam. This applies to all correspondence from UUCUC staff.

If you are suspicious at all about an email from a staff member, please contact the sender in a separate email message and ask them to verify if they sent it. And, if you do receive a spam message please report it to your email provider.
