Beth Cobb, in her position as Assistant for Services, used to take orders for poinsettias to decorate the church for Christmas (and then people who had ordered one would take them home after Christmas Eve).
The Racial Justice Project and Social Action Committee have teamed up to create UUCUC’s first Faithify campaign. Faithify is a crowd-sourcing way to raise funds, allowing anyone to contribute to campaigns they care about.

National Coming Out Day emphasizes that homophobia thrives and survives in a climate of silence, and that a personal form of activism is to visibly assert your identity if you are a member of the LGBTQ+ community.
Learning is a lifelong endeavor and a valued part of our Unitarian Universalist community. A council is a larger structure which oversees a multi-faceted program. Since religious education is a large program, then participants in the council will collaboratively work to organize, dream and make it happen!
Standing with the UUA’s and other congregations’ beliefs in immigrant justice, in September, our Board of Trustees passed a motion approving a plan for UUCUC to be a place of hospitality for immigrants.
We’re looking for some compassionate people who are good listeners and who can offer warm, supportive relationships. We are starting a program to train members of our congregation to be pastoral caregivers.
