I am writing to you 10 weeks after we closed our physical building, on the first day of Illinois Phase 3, and a few hours before a number of us will be participating in a Black Lives Matter peaceful (we hope) march at the Champaign County Courthouse.
Remember pre-COVID19 March? That was when the Dream Team unveiled a Mission/Vision Mandala and nine Vision themes to support our Mission. After two information meetings for members, we made slight revisions to the Visions.
Even though spring is here, I want to urge you, with every fiber of my being, to be EVEN MORE CAREFUL about “social solidarity” for the next few weeks.
The following Zoom Meetings are scheduled to give the congregation the opportunity to be heard. With the Annual Meeting scheduled for June 14th on-line, these are opportunities to discuss both the logistics of the meeting, as well as the items coming up for a vote.
