We are looking for volunteers of all ages to help us make our online holiday service, to air on December 20th.
Come to our Zoom meeting this coming Sunday, November 22, at 2pm, to help choose which 11 of these organizations to support in 2021. All members and friends of the church are welcome. After hearing short summaries about each nominated organization, everyone will vote on which ones get selected. You must come to the meeting to be able to vote. We will notify everyone of the chosen organizations at the end of the meeting.

On Monday, November 16, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm, the Immigration Justice Task Force (IJTF) is hosting a virtual meeting to ask for volunteers to help carry out our hospitality / emergency refuge program, approved at this year’s annual meeting. Volunteering is a terrific way to get involved without having to go to meetings!

It marks the birthday of Herculine Barbin, a French intersex person whose memoirs were later published by Michel Foucault in Herculine Barbin: Being the Recently Discovered Memoirs of a Nineteenth-century French Hermaphrodite.
In 2019, the religious education committee transitioned into a religious education council. The focus of the council is to coordinate all aspects of lifespan religious education and to coordinate its efforts with UUCUC’s mission and vision. Three times a year, the full council meets to look at the full program and dream about our learning future. Our next meeting is will be held online on Saturday, November 21, 2020.
