The Shared Offering Committee facilitated a zoom meeting on Sunday, December 5th to choose organizations aligned with our UU values that would receive the shared offering for January through November of 2022 (December is always reserved for our partners churches).  

As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic and plan to return to indoors Religious Exploration, we encourage you to stay connected!

Eighteen varied and interesting organizations have been proposed and we will select eleven for next year’s program.  

Rev KB spoke with Julie Pryde, Public Health Administrator at the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District, this week and Julie emphasized that everyone who is eligible to receive the booster shot should get it if they have received their first vaccination shots and the proper amount of time has passed between the original vaccination shots and the booster.

Beginning on December 5th, UUCUC will open its doors again to small group and committee meetings. Please note, UUCUC Zoom accounts will still be available for groups and committees to meet on. We’re offering the option to meet in-person at the church building if small group and committee members feel comfortable doing so and follow the proper precautions.

We’re not quite ready for our closeup, but with the COVID taskforce’s new safety recommendations, we can give you a peek behind the scenes before the eventual “Grand Reopening.”
